NetLink Trust confirms that the fibre service interruption affecting the vicinity of Jurong West was resolved around 2100 hours on 12 April 2017.
The fibre service interruption was a result of a fibre cut by a third party contractor not engaged by NetLink Trust who was carrying out sheet piling works at 218D Boon Lay Ave. Fibre services to more than 3,500 end-users were affected. The fibre cables were progressively restored although progress was hampered by poor site conditions and heavy rain overnight.
NetLink Trust team has worked closely with all relevant parties to ensure that service was restored to the affected area as soon as possible.
