This position is critical in assisting NetLink Trust’s management (as the BCM Steering Committee members) to oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of NetLink Trust’s BCM programme.

The focus is on ensuring timely and effective responses to disruptions which ensures that the relevant stakeholders are kept informed.

Responsibilities:

The BCM Manager will drive the effort to review and maintain the Crisis Management Framework (for NLT’s internal crisis) and Industry Crisis Management Framework (for wide-scale incidents impacting the industry), as well as ensuring adherence to ISO22301:2012 standard, which NLT’s BCM Programme has been certified to be in compliance.

Should NetLink Trust’s Crisis Management Plan be activated and a disaster is declared, the BCM Manager shall act as the Secretariat to NetLink Trust’s Crisis Management Team.

The key duties and responsibilities are:
• Develop good understanding of critical systems and processes for NLT, and use this to facilitate reviews of the Crisis Management Plan;
• Provide thought leadership on implementation and testing of the Crisis Management Plan and Industry Crisis Management Plan;
• Ensure that existing Critical Business Functions identified are relevant and exhaustive;
• Ensure that existing Recovery Strategies are realistic ;
• Develop test plans, scenarios and scripts for various exercises (desktop / walk through / simulation / full scale exercise; including joint exercises with external agencies);
• Liaise with external agencies to provide information, status reports and participate in joint exercises;
• Develop and maintain effective Crisis Management Plan and serve as the Secretariat to the Crisis Management Team (including activation of War Room, scheduling CMT meetings, logging of key decisions made, coordination with Crisis Communications team, coordination with Industry Crisis Management Team if required etc);
• Liaise with NBN industry players to develop coordinated responses to major incident;
• Assist during Internal and External BCM audits and ensure that audit findings are followed up in timely manner;
• Provide periodic updates to NetLink Trust BCM Steering Committee

Requirements:

• University Degree with minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in ISO22301 certification will be an advantage
• Able to plan and organise activities systematically
• Able to work independently and deliver under pressure
• Able to distil large volume of information and identify/articulate areas that require attention
• Able to multitask and meet KPIs with a high quality standard
• As cross-functional interaction is extensive, proven ability to influence is key
• Excellent written, verbal and facilitation skills
